Considering Reiki?
There are many forms of Energy healing, but as I am formally trained in the art of Reiki, I will refer to that.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is the art of moving energy with love. I also like to refer to it as Acupunture without the needles. :) We are all, at our basic forms, energy vibrating at different rates and frequencies. Sometimes we unknowingly reduce the flow of energy within ourselves. This can come from a various reasons. Whether it be from a physical injury or past emotional trauma (which will present itself it a physical matter when not effectively dealt with) or simply not honoring our physical needs for a better diet, a little exercise and water, Reiki can help facilitate in the balancing of that energy.
Many use Reiki in combination with standard medicine and have found that it greatly enhances their healing process. Western medicine largely relies on rather invasive and impersonal practices reliant on generality, this is sometimes a necessary part of the process, but Energy work can greatly reduce the emotional and physical stress that this causes and aid in a more symbiotic and personal recovery.
It is important to know that just as it is important to find a doctor, dentist, mechanic and such that you trust and have a good rapport with, finding a Reiki or Energy worker should be done with thought as well. I believe all Energy workers have our best interest at heart, but let's face it, just as not everyone enjoys a bold cup of coffee, no one single practitioner is for everyone. We all bring a different flavor, background and perception to our practice, so it is important to find someone you feel comfortable with.
I would also like to note that, I believe as an Energy worker, that there is no room for Ego. I have received healings from more than one practitioner. No one was, in my mind, better than the other, it simply comes down to who I am guided to go to at that time. It is all good! When it comes to loyalty, be loyal to yourself. I encourage clients to visit other practitioners if they choose, because I know that if they are guided to myself or another Energy worker, there is a reason. Unlike most areas of society where it's an all for one attitude, Energy workers support one another and our intent is always that of love. Love of ourselves, our clients and their best interest, and the Universal process.
To be an Energy/Light Worker is truly a gift, not only for the recipient, but also for the facilitator. I like to say that it is a Win, Win, Win situation.
The recipient benefits from increased balance and love, Universal Energy is free to be lovingly directed to the recipient, and as a facilitator.....well I benefit from the increased energy and frequency as well as it allows me to truly see the interconnectedness of it all. And that is truly a miraculously beautiful scene!
One Earth.
